EVENT:                     Police Athletic League GIRLSPORT DAY Encourages Girls to Get In the Game

Join young girls for the Police Athletic League’s (PAL) Annual GirlSport Day with PAL centers from across the five boroughs. Over 170 girls in fourth through eighth grades participate in an afternoon of fun and fitness as they compete in Basketball, Football, Soccer, Volleyball, Relay Races, Double Dutch Jump Rope, and sports-related obstacle course.  The Annual PAL GirlSport Day is part of the health and fitness component of PAL’s After School programs, encouraging children to focus on active lifestyles and develop positive attitudes towards wellness.
