Summer 2021: In its second year, Garden of Dreams created the MSG 4 Me program to provide youth with access and insight into various corporate (i.e. finance, marketing, legal) and venue operations (i.e. event production, stage hands, electricians) career opportunities within MSG Entertainment, MSG Sports and MSG Networks. Throughout the program, students will meet with MSG employees who have taken various career paths – from pursuing college to learning a trade.
The goal of this program is o provide high school students affiliated with Garden of Dreams community-based organizations insight into various corporate and venue operations opportunities within MSG Entertainment and MSG Sports.
During the Spring/Summer 2021 cohort, 12-high school students from Garden of Dreams partner Police Athletic League of NYC participated in the 12-week MSG 4 Me program. While the program continued to be hosted virtually, the students participated in interactive and engaging sessions each week. Throughout the program, areas that the students were exposed to included:
