The Police Athletic League is hosting several in-person Lights On Afterschool events on October 28. PAL’s efforts will be one of thousands of in-person and virtual events across America as part of Lights On Afterschool, the annual nationwide rally to support after school programs, organized by the Afterschool Alliance. This year, Lights On Afterschool will highlight the vital work that after school programs are doing to help youth recover from the pandemic.

PAL Center at PS 47 / 1794 East 172 Street, Bronx: PAL kids from Kindergarten to 5th Grade participate in a parade celebration, dance, arts and crafts, and team sports activities.
PAL Duncan Center / 552 West 52 Street (bet. 10th & 11th Aves.), Manhattan: Families of PAL youngsters from Kindergarten to 5th Grade enjoy an outdoor art gallery that showcases the talent of the after school participants.
PAL Wynn Center /495 Gates Ave. (bet. Marcy & Tompkins Aves.), Brooklyn: PAL kids from Kindergarten to 8th Grade participate in a Lights On Afterschool parade around the block, showcasing their arts and crafts.
